Book digitization discussion

Betsy Kruger, who is coordinating digital content creation for the UI Library,
will be the featured speaker at the
University YMCA's KYU lunch series this Tuesday.

Betsy will
speak about the Library's digital book projects,
including the Open
Content Alliance (of which the Biodiversity Heritage Library is a part).
Open to the public.
Lunch available via the Y-Eatery or you may bring your own lunch.

When: Tuesday, October 30, 12-1pm
Where: YMCA

However, be advised the KYU write-up on Betsy's speech is misleading,
as it suggests that digitized
books cease to be available in paper form.
